I am someone who views their family and friends as the most important things in my life. Single with no kids.
Since I'm originally from the St. Louis area, I have a love and passion for the St. Louis sports teams.
I'm new to Tallahassee so I'm excited about meeting new people and living in a city that is new to me! E-mail me on any local restaurants I need to check out. I'm no stranger to the region since I have lived in Jacksonville, Mobile and Biloxi.
Things I love to do: Checking out new restaurants, Brunch on the weekend (includes Saturday. Looking for a cool Saturday brunch place in Tally), any type of festival downtown and traveling.

Lady Gaga has been challenged to a televised sing-off by Alisa Apps, with the winner taking home $1 million. Apps says, "I feel sorry Lady Gaga. She's just a plastic doll generated by the music money marketing machine. This contest gives people a chance to choose which they prefer... plastic or real."
Alisa doesn't have a record deal yet but has registered more than 1.2 million YouTube hits.

Losing weight doesn't have to be confusing, stressful or unpleasant. Here are two simple weight-loss secrets that can help you over the rough spots on your journey:

1. Move on when you slip up. You can totally plan out your meals and snacks, but there are still gonna be those days when you binge on pizza or go overboard on sweets. The important thing is not to beat yourself up about it and not to give up completely on your diet because of one oops. Forgive yourself, forget it and get right back on track!

2. Treat yourself. You LOVE chocolate, but when you're dieting you completely give it up. You feel good because your diet is perfect, but it's impossible to keep perfection going day in and day out. Be realistic -- aiming for perfection sets you up to fail. Don't deprive yourself of everything you love -- just eat favorite foods in moderation and factor them into your plan for the day.
